At St. Al’s our average class sizes range from 15-25 students.
How many students do you have at your school?
We are happy that 190 students in preschool through grade 8 call St. Al’s their home away from home.
What are your school hours?
St. Al’s school day begins at 7:30 a.m. and ends at 1:50 p.m.
Do you offer after school care?
St. Al’s school day begins at 7:30 a.m. and ends at 1:50 p.m. We offer after school care until 6 p.m. Monday through Friday. Find out more.
What extracurricular activities do you offer?
St. Al’s offers a variety of extracurricular activities designed to further develop each child by offering the opportunity to explore enriching activities within a fun and values-based environment. Find out more.
Do you offer after school athletic opportunities?
St. Al’s offers fall, winter and spring sports for boys and girls in grades 5-8. We believe that sports help children learn the values of sportsmanship, teamwork, responsibility, respect, accountability, and skill improvement. Find out more.

Where do students tend to go to high school after they graduate from St. Al’s?
Graduates of St. Al’s attend a variety of high schools including: Totino-Grace, DeLaSalle, Cristo Rey, Chesterton Academy, Benilde-St. Margaret’s, Osseo High School, Champlin Park High School and Maranatha Christian Academy.

St. Al’s is proud to follow the Blended Learning model designed through the University of Notre Dame and participate in the Believe and Read program developed by the Catholic Schools Center of Excellence, in partnership with Groves Learning Organization and Cretin-Derham Hall Catholic High School.
